The updated Emmy Award-winning plugin suite is now available with host support for Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Autodesk Flame, Blackmagic Resolve, Foundry Nuke, and VEGAS Pro. “Sapphire 2023 builds upon the popular Stylize category, which includes in-demand effects such as glitches, pixel sort, analog TV looks, and more,” says Boris Yamnitsky, president and founder of Boris FX. “The new S\_PrismLens effect lends a heavenly, trippy style to music videos, travelogues, and social media projects, while S\_UltraGrain is an invisible workhorse that helps compositors accurately match film stocks and modern camera noise to produce seamless results between different footage formats and CG elements.” ![Sapphire2023_IntroducingPrismLens_clean](https://blog.borisfx.com/hs-fs/hubfs/sapphire/Sapphire2023_IntroducingPrismLens_clean.jpg?width=900&height=506&name=Sapphire2023_IntroducingPrismLens_clean.jpg)Boris FX Sapphire 2023: New S\_PrismLens effect ([download the image](https://borisfx-com-res.cloudinary.com/image/upload/v1667869773/Marketing/Sapphire%202023/PL_3_HD.png)) ## What's New The **S\_PrismLens effect** replicates shooting through a physical glass prism to create cinematic and dreamy looks. The feature-rich effect includes three initial styles to start with: single, linear, and circular. Users have the option to modify lens shape, use built-in Mocha to track and isolate effects, and add finishing touches such as glows, lights, and chromatic aberrations. Includes 16 presets.  The **S\_UltraGrain effect** is fast, flexible, and natural. Users tasked with compositing and effects work can instantly apply precise film and camera grain to footage. The effect features 79 presets based on Hollywood’s favorite film stocks as well as modern production cameras, including Arri Alexa, Red, Canon, and Sony. Sapphire’s most widely-used transition gets an update with **S\_DissolveUltraGlow**. The transition adds enhanced features with an optical-based glow, highlight and atmospheric noise parameters, and 14 presets.  **100+ curated presets** join Sapphire’s extensive preset collection, including **18 photorealistic lens flare presets** in the renowned lighting category. ![SapphireUltraGrain_Before_After](https://blog.borisfx.com/hs-fs/hubfs/sapphire/SapphireUltraGrain_Before_After.png?width=900&height=506&name=SapphireUltraGrain_Before_After.png)Boris FX Sapphire 2023: New S\_UltraGrain effect ([download the image](https://borisfx-com-res.cloudinary.com/image/upload/v1668525224/Marketing/Sapphire%202023/SapphireUltraGrain_Before_After.png)) ## ** Pricing** Sapphire is available as a collection of plugins with annual/monthly subscriptions, upgrade & support plans, and permanent licenses. **Multi-Host Option (Adobe, Avid, OFX)** | Upgrades start at $895 | | --- | | Annual subscription: $895 | | Monthly subscription: $112 | | Permanent license: $2795 | **Individual Host Options** | **Adobe/OFX** | **Avid** | | --- | --- | | Upgrades start at $495 | Upgrades start at $495 | | Annual subscription: $495 | Annual subscription: $495 | | Monthly subscription: $62 | Monthly subscription: $62 | | Permanent license: $1695 | Permanent license: $1695 | Customers on current subscription or upgrade & support plans receive Sapphire 2023 as a free update.
