Miami, Florida, U.S.A. — September 7, 2026 — Boris FX will showcase the latest AI technology in its Academy and Emmy Award-winning product line at IBC2026 in Amsterdam, Netherlands (September 11 - 14, 2026). The event marks the international debut of Boris FX’s expanded video and audio post-production product line with the addition of iZotope’s product family, including RX, Ozone, Neutron, Nectar, and more. Attendees will receive a hands-on look at new AI-driven visual effects workflows inside the Boris FX Suite, plus new intelligent dialogue, sound effects, and music editing and restoration tools in iZotope RX 12, and more.
“We’re thrilled to introduce the global media community to our growing post-production product family, featuring even more innovative video, VFX, and pro audio tools under one unified roof,” states Boris Yamnitsky, CEO and founder of Boris FX. “Boris FX is committed to delivering AI-powered tools to broadcasters/streamers that eliminate common technical pain points and workflow bottlenecks, while allowing artists complete control over each element. This hybrid approach to AI technology keeps artists’ needs at the forefront of everything we do.”
“iZotope’s pioneering machine-learning development team offers a perfect complement to our internal team,” continues Yamnitsky. “As we enter a new Boris FX era, we’re excited to leverage our combined resources to create the most impactful, user-friendly tools for video editors, VFX artists, content creators, and audio professionals.”
The Boris FX Suite includes 20+ AI tools that dramatically reduce the time spent on technical tasks such as masking, tracking, image restoration, audio fixes, and traditionally tricky creative effects and transitions. Each AI tool is developed internally, trained on ethical sources, and locally processed to ensure privacy and security.
The latest version of the Boris FX Suite adds four new masking tools. Point Track ML uses advanced AI to analyze tracks across a sequence while ignoring occlusions, shadows, and surfaces that move in and out of view. Object Detection lets users enter a text prompt (i.e, people, trees, cars, etc.) and rotoscope faster with automatic object detection and masking. Head Track ML builds and tracks a full 3D head mesh while preserving facial motion and expressions for stable, face-aware effects. Face ML offers one-click facial segmentation, including eyes, lips, neck, nose, and skin.
Image restoration gets a boost with two new options. Deinterface ML automatically and precisely converts interlaced video. Denoise ML easily removes unwanted noise from images while maintaining vital details.
Three new transitions give editors and content creators more stylized looks. MochaWhip cuts, tracks, and whips subjects onto the next clip with AI-driven motion. Jump Cut Fixer ML uses AI optical flow to dissolve between two shots seamlessly. Depth Wipe ML generates a depth map and uses it to create cinematic transitions.
The Boris FX Suite adds music separation and cinematic demixing with CrumplePop SoundApp. The standalone app and plugin use advanced AI stem separation to split video or audio files into Voice, Music, Instruments, and Sound Effects.
In addition to AI tools, the Boris FX Suite introduces new creative effects (Advanced Defocus, TextureRidges, Film Burn, Lens Flares, Warps, Dissolves, and Particles), 250+ curated presets, advanced rotoscoping and painting tools, Live Preview GeoH for 3D camera solves, and streamlined pipelines and exports.
The Pro Audio division of Boris FX builds upon its offerings with iZotope’s Emmy and Academy Award-winning tools, including RX 12. The latest release pushes audio restoration forward with smarter technology, faster editing workflows, and improved favorites.
RX 12 highlights include Scene Rebalance, which separates film and TV scenes into distinct dialogue, music, and effects tracks; Stems View, which lets users apply any RX tool to separated stems like dialogue or background noise via Scene Rebalance, Music Rebalance, or Dialogue Isolate; rebuilt De-bleed with a new real-time plugin; enhanced Music Rebalance and Dialogue Isolate tools with state-of-the-art neural nets for cleaner results; and Trim Silence, which detects and removes silent regions in long audio files, speeding up podcast, dialogue mix, and audiobook editing.
Updates to sister Pro Audio products include a new Spatial Panner in Sequoia that visually links panning across stereo, surround, and immersive formats; OSC remote support in Samplitude provides greater control and flexibility to record, make edits, or mix on the spot; and CrumplePop SoundApp’s new ARA plugin supports leading DAWs like Pro Tools, Samplitude, Sequoia, Reaper, Cubase, and more.
Vegas Pro 2026 adds the following core updates across all editions: Continuum Title Pack (2D/3D titling and graphics); NVIDIA Blackwell GPU support (smoother high-res editing with accelerated playback); enhanced Z-Depth effect (AI); and Apple-certified ProRes RAW format support.
