Miami, FL, U.S.A. — October 8, 2026 — Samplitude 2026.5 transforms how audio professionals tackle stereo, 3D, and immersive mixes. The new release from Boris FX adds a Spatial Panner that unifies visual panning in a single intuitive workspace and reduces repetitive panning adjustments across film, television, music, or gaming spatial formats. Users can also modify each format individually. Additionally, three new plugins further strengthen Samplitude’s toolkit with multi-band control, Stream Deck tool triggering, and AI-powered music, cinematic demixing, and voice separation.

The BandRack plugin lets you use plugin chains and processing only where necessary, and the Stream Deck OSC plugin adds even more flexibility and efficiency for tracking, editing, and mixing.”
The Spatial Panner eliminates tool switching and isolated track-by-track panning adjustments. The single interactive visual workspace supports mono, stereo, surround, and immersive 3D channel formats. Panning links across multiple target buses, allowing one movement to update each mix simultaneously. Users can position audio with tools like speaker snap, symmetry mode, and stereo controls such as spread and rotation parameters. A Draw Mode lets users draw and edit complex motion with two modes: Linear and Timing. The Spatial Panner supports up to 7.1.4 surround in the Samplitude Suite and 5.1 surround in Samplitude.
The BandRack Plugin gives plugins multiband control. It divides audio across up to six adjustable frequency bands, letting users chain any VST3 plugin exactly where they need it. BandRack includes 5 presets (3-Band Master, Punch, Bass Control, De-Harsh, and Tape Warmth), 33 built-in effects (including dynamics, distortion, saturation, tape emulation, and brightness), and 16 customizable macros that control multiple parameters with one slider. Users can work in linear phase mode for transparency or keep everything tracking safe with zero latency. Included with Samplitude Suite.
The Stream Deck OSC Plugin allows users to trigger any Samplitude menu command from an Elgato Stream Deck. Setup is fast and customizable. Select an action, choose from 400 included Samplitude icons, and set the desired Stream Deck key. Use it with Samplitude’s transport console (play, record, click, loop, and more), place markers, and work with the crossfade editor. Stream Deck+ can also adjust faders, monitoring, and get true stereo VU metering.
CrumplePop SoundApp ARA, a Boris FX sister product, is now available directly within Samplitude’s Arrange Window, delivering precise AI-driven stem separation and denoising tools, including Music 4 Stems (Voice, Drums, Bass, and Other), Cinematic 4 Stems (Voice, Sound Effects, Music, and Other), and Voice 2 Stems (separates vocals from music). A plugin scan for VST3 ARA plugins automatically detects compatible plugins for immediate use without requiring individual integration or whitelisting. The scan is also available in Music Studio.
Further improvements include greater stability and reliability with updated EUCON support; waveform drawing that continues during playback; set play cursor to the beginning or end of a selected object; dependable peak detection and processing with enhanced sMax11 True Peak filtering; and 32-bit integer exports for mastering and archival delivery.
