We expanded the scope of the Boris FX Suite with two new products: CrumplePop (April) and SynthEyes (August). The additions help further cement the Boris FX Suite as the ultimate creative VFX toolkit by filling in potential gaps in your post-production pipeline.

CrumplePop gives editors access to simple AI-driven audio restoration and quick-fix tools, while SynthEyes brings incredibly fast 3D tracking and match moving tools to visual effects artists. Available within the Boris FX Suite or as individual products.

Our development team was as busy as ever delivering tons of new effects and timesaving options.

AI Power

We introduced our first internally-developed AI/ML creative tools across three of our products — and can't wait to share what we have in store as we take a holistic approach to the technology.

Our original flagship product, Continuum, added a new DeNoise ML effect, an UpRes ML effect, and the ability to generate custom AI sprites inside Particle Illusion to the 2024 release. Silhouette includes a Stability Node (2023) to speed up removes and painting tasks, a DeNoiser ML node for grain management (2023), and an UpRes ML node (2023.5) to quickly scale any clip. And finally, CrumplePop 2024 features significant sound quality boosts thanks to next-gen AI models on its popular noise, traffic, wind, rustle & clipping removal tools. More Training Series!

In addition to the helpful tutorials we add to our video library nearly every week, we also produced Continuum Essentials and Silhouette Essentials (broken into two tracks: rotoscoping and compositing). Each series is FREE to watch or you can buy the premium downloads which include project files. The two new courses join Sapphire Essentials, Mocha Pro Essentials, and Particle Illusion Essentials to help you make the most out of our products.

Why We're Grateful

Two words: our community. This summer we hosted our first in-person customer appreciation event since the pandemic. It was a magical (and muggy) NYC night with palpable creative energy.
